2024 Recap: ProBikeGarage 2.0, Premium features, web app, and more!

As 2024 comes to an end, we at ProBikeGarage are excited to reflect on a year of significant news and improvements. We’ve been devoted to enhancing the cyclists’ bike maintenance experience through major updates, new features, and expanded services.

Here’s a look back at what we’ve accomplished together:

A fresh new look: ProBikeGarage 2.0 with complete UI re-design

In February, we launched ProBikeGarage 2.0, a complete overhaul of our app to keep revolutionizing bike monitoring and maintenance. This update introduced a refreshed user interface, improved user experience, and support for nine languages.

ProBikeGarage 2.0 had a great reception from our users, and served as the starting point to keep improving the cyclists’ bike maintenance experience and to develop the new features that we would publish in the following months.

During the next 10 months, we added a pre-defined bikes catalog with +47,000 bikes and +60 brands to help you set up your bikes in a couple of seconds, updated our components catalog with +1000 new components and +15 new brands, revised our Strava sync algorithm for enhanced reliability and speed, allowed to automatically exclude components from specific ride types to streamline swapping bike parts, and added the ability to register unplanned bike services and to replace bike components in a single step to simplify routinary maintenance tasks.

Last but not least, we released +80 app updates during the year featuring all kinds of small improvements and fixes, achieving an almost bug and crash-free app experience, outperforming the best Health & Fitness apps in Google Play and the App Store.

Introducing ProBikeGarage Premium (and the web app!)

And that’s not all! In late October, we published new exclusive features available with a monthly/annual Premium subscription, and the long-awaited ProBikeGarage web app featuring the same features as the existing mobile apps from any web-compatible device.

The new Premium subscription includes up to 10GB of full-resolution photos, videos, or documents to add to your bikes, components, service intervals, and services. All your photos and documents will be synchronized and available from all your devices and the web.

ProBikeGarage Premium also features a smart Strava auto-sync algorithm to automatically synchronize your rides from Strava at least once daily, and priority support from the ProBikeGarage team to get personalized setup guidance and solve any questions faster.

After the initial Premium features, we’ll keep adding more exclusive features during 2025 and the coming years. From advanced bike usage stats and insights to family accounts and more.

Since its launch, hundreds of existing and new users have upgraded to Premium for an enhanced bike maintenance experience. Thank you all for your confidence and for supporting ProBikeGarage!

Partnerships with the cycling and sports industry

In addition to all the outlined app news and improvements, the ProBikeGarage team has started multiple partnerships with different members of the cycling and sports industry to boost the services cyclists receive from both sides. From local bike shops and workshops to major international retailers and manufacturers.

During 2025 we want to consolidate ourselves as a go-to partner in the cycling industry to provide the best mobile, web, and data analysis and insights technologies for cyclists, manufacturers, bike shops, and retailers.
